Oracle's acquisition of PeopleSoft will have a positive long-term
impact on both Oracle Applications and PeopleSoft users. We expect the
acquisition to further improve Oracle's ability to produce new
applications and enhance existing ones. We also believe the OAUG has an
important role to play in this merger by assisting the memberships of
PeopleSoft and JD Edwards to deal with any transitions that may be
necessary.
OAUG Develops Oracle Community Integration Initiative
The OAUG recently developed the Oracle Community Integration Initiative
to enable user groups to play a more active role in the Oracle
