The Oracle Retail CABs were formed to have strategic level discussions (i.e. should we invest in RFID, how far should we take a Customer Centricity solution, what do you think about Supplier Collaboration, etc). These are most often large investment areas that will be delivered in a phased approach but essentially shape the future of the Oracle Retail applications. These strategic discussions ensure Oracle Retail is investing in the right areas to take us (Oracle Retail Customers) to a competitive position with ROI on our software purchases. CABs are about having a dialog with a heavy focus on Oracle Retail listening to their customer representatives that serve on the CABs.
