The following information and forms are available to Geo/SIG coordinators to assist with group operations and to access affiliation benefits. If you have any questions, please contact the Geo/SIG Manager at geo-sig@oaug.com.
Geo/SIG Affiliation Process
Geo/SIG Manual
The Geo/SIG Manual (PDF) details the policies, procedures and requirements for OAUG affiliated Geos and SIGs. The manual also details the guidelines for compliance. Please contact the Geo/SIG Manager at geo-sig@oaug.com if you have questions.
Oracle Points of Contact for Geos
Please contact OAUG G/S Manager at geo-sig@oaug.com if you do not have the contact information for your Oracle Field Marketing point of contact. The points of contact will help you in securing local Oracle presenters for your meetings, connect with you on meeting calendars and inform the local sales teams of your meetings.
Geo/SIG Meeting Calendars
Why Does OAUG Request This Information?
The OAUG requests that you submit your meeting information via the online calendar application (PDF file) as soon as meetings are confirmed. Submitting your event calendar information is very important as it allows both the OAUG and Oracle to plan resources to support your event, as well as promote your event to OAUG members, potential presenters, sponsors, Oracle customers and partners.
By providing OAUG with your meeting information, we will be able to:
- Promote your meeting by including meeting date/link on the Geo or SIG page of the OAUG Web site. The OAUG refers all inquiries regarding Geo/SIG meetings from members, potential presenters and sponsors to these pages.
- Promote your meeting by including meeting date/link in OAUG eNews.
- Ship OAUG flyers, OAUG Insight magazines and logo giveaway items for your meeting.
- Schedule OAUG Board or staff representation to provide an OAUG update (when possible).
- Add your meeting to Oracle’s Global User Group Calendar. Oracle points customers, partners and Oracle employees to this calendar, and uses it to plan support (speakers, etc.), for user group meetings. To add your meeting to the Oracle calendar, please email the meeting details to the G/S Manager at geo-sig@oaug.com. Please submit complete details at least 6 weeks prior to the event.
All user groups are encouraged to review the Oracle Global User Group Calendar when planning meetings to avoid overlaps with already scheduled events (including Oracle, OAUG, PeopleSoft, G-Log, Retek, IOUG, Quest and other user group events).
Help us help you by entering your meeting information via the online calendar as soon as it is confirmed!

Broadcast E-mail Service
We will send one broadcast e-mail per quarter to OAUG member contacts to announce meetings, membership drives or other topics of interest.
