[OAUGNetDBA]-Best practice for customized outbound directory

Need advice on the best practice. We have a custom_top that have all
our custom reports. Recently, I asked to create
A outbound directory for our customized Postive Payment program... Allow
ftp output file from outbound directory to bank web site. I wonder what
is the best practice for location of this outbound directory? Any
suggestion?

How about create a new directory . Something like
$CUSTOM_TOP/NewDirectory/outbound ??
