[OAUGNetDBA]-J2SE 1.1.8 to 1.4 upgrade on 11.5.9 (pre-11.5.10 upgrade)

Hello DBA's,

Looking to ugprade apps 11.5.9 J2SE version from 1.1.8 to 1.4.
Have found metalink note246105.1 but it appears to be written as a pre-req to going to 11.5.10.

We just want to to take 11.5.9 to 1.4 then upgrade in a month to 11.5.10.

Can someone please validate/critique the  patches/steps below for a simple J2Se 1.1.8 to 1.4 upgrade.

Patch 4709948  TXK templates for autoconfig
Patch 3239047 J2SE Consoldated 1.4 patch 
3503919 Web ADI Patch for 1.4

We are a two tier configuration  Forms/Apache on one tier 
Database and Concurrnet managers on another – sharing the appltop with NFS between the two. – The database is already 10.2.03 and we got ATG PG H delta 6 six installed with the Sun Java Plugins running (no more jinitiator).
