Oracle will collect that and more information themselves in their "support pack" ("spy on your licensing" module) but they no longer show nonsensitive information that assists with internal testing? Sounds like someone took a "security 101" class but stopped going after the first day.

Got a very interesting update from Oracle support on this issue:
"
Help > About Oracle Applications does not show versions after upgrading to
ATG-RUP5. Forms Server details do not appear in "About Oracle
Applications"
Form.
This is a new feature introduced via fdxver.lc version 115.22. to exclude
'sensitive' info from the About Oracle Apps window in Forms.
'Sensitive' includes machine names, paths, PIDs, db names, etc
FYI: Same issue may be observed in R12
"
Who knew this was 'sensitive' info?

We've seen the same thing when we applied ATG H RUP6, but it's
inconsistent.
The data shows up on some clients and not on others.

[OAUGNetDBA]-Profile FND: Diagnostics
We recently upgraded our 11.5.9 environment to ATG.H RUP6 / 10.2.0.3. We
now have an issue where the Forms "Help / About" display is not
displaying
details in the Forms Server section (excerpt below). Oracle support is
recommending that we enable the profile option "FND: Diagnostics"
(set to
'Yes'). But I seem to recall that this would enable a user to change
data
from the back-end (Help / Diagnostics / Examine ).
Has anyone else run into this issue? Found an alternate solution?
Thanks.
