I'm still looking for any rules of thumb for how to set these. I just know increasing them will substantially move the patching along. I am referencing: http://blogs.oracle.com/muralins/ Search for ADJREOPTS Solutions Beacon Monthly Newsletter from December 2003 written by Jeff Holt -- discussed ADREOPT and what to do when you get **Out of memory, Exiting** error We didn't actually have the error messages in these metalink notes... but they point to the fact that we should change from the default settings. Especially after reading the note from Murali Sriram Note:299084.1 AD Utilities error with Out of memory, exiting message Note:137126.1 java.lang.OutOfMemoryError Applying a Patch Note:557926.1 Applying an 11i (or R12) Patch, Failed on : Error occurred during initialization of VM, Could not reserve Note:234786.1 Oracle Applications 11.5.9 - Installation Update Notes for HP Tru64 UNIX ---- DIPANJAN GHOSHAL <dipg73@rediffmail.com> wrote: > Can You mention which metalink notes you are referring ?
