To clarify what Mike is referring to...

We created a personalization so that when users are entered-- the entry
person does not have a choice to change the expiration # days.  It is
defaulted and they can't change it.

If there is interest in this I can post more details.

Very easy to do this via forms personalization for ongoing user maintenance
-- we did this recently and it works extremely well.

Perhaps you can use the API for fnd users.


Take a look at FND_USER_PKG.updateuser

It appears this package will update your user.  There are other procedures
to use if your users are linked to the HZ person tables as a user.  I
believe there may be documentation somewhere on Metalink for using this API.
