Try changing the printers in unix to pass-through or remote printing. If that doesn't do the trick, try changing the number of rows in the following: $APPL_TOP/FND/11.5.0/reports/HPP.prt $APPL_TOP/FND/11.5.0/reports/HPL.prt $APPL_TOP/FND/11.5.0/reports/HPW.prt -----Original Message----- From: OAUG Net listserver [mailto:OAUGNet@oaug.com]On Behalf Of Costello.Chris Sent: Thursday, October 21, 2004 9:53 AM To: OAUG Net listserver Subject: [OAUGNet]-Printer issue - extra page challenge Hi, Hopefully you can assist us in preventing an extra page from printing after every postscript or PCL report is printed. We have been troubled with this issue for many months and have drawn a blank. We are now getting pressure from our end user departments that the extra page is becoming increasingly inconvinient. Clues: 1. Only PCL and Postscript reports print and extra page, Text and PDF are fine. 2. We are on Windows 2000 Advanced Server 3. We are on 11.5.8 4. We have removed the printer driver initialisation string - this makes no difference 5. We have created a simple report with only bolierplate (the word 'Hello'), this also prints an extra page. 6. We have been through every possible note on MetaLink with no joy. 7. When I copy the output file to my local PC and use the following command to print the report, we still get an extra page: print /D:\\server\printer e:\o343544.out 8. We have created styles, types and printer drivers from scratch but these still print an extra page 9. This issue occurs with all reports that are used with postscript or PCL, so it is not a individual report problem. We even changed the 'Active Users' report to PCL and got an extra page. Any help would be highly appreciated.
