[OAUGNet]-Multiple 11i instances

Hi
  We have a architectural question. We have our
production 11.5.8 database in denmark. We wanted to
move our prod system to US. But also maintain that
prod instance in denmark for the next 18 months due to
local laws. Is there any way we can maintain 2
production instances and sync them periodically(hot
standby/replication/geo mirroring)? We know that
single global instance is the way to go. But we do not
have any choice in this? Any ideas...
