Eight New 11i LVCs from OU

Oracle University’s live virtual classes (LVCs) are an innovative combination of traditional content and interactive learning supported by world-class technology, top-rated instructors, cutting-edge curriculum and hands-on labs. They have now been enhanced with eKits. Oracle University has published eight new 11i LVCs ranging from project costing fundamentals, project management, BOM, financials and supply chain fundamentals, and inventory management.

11i Project Costing Fundamentals

In this course, you will learn about the implementation of 11i Oracle Project Costing. The course encompasses key setup considerations, from implementing expenditures and AutoAccounting to running costing processes, and explains some of the impacts of implementation decisions. You will also learn how this product fits into the Oracle E-Business Suite.

11i Project Management Fundamentals

In this course, you will learn about the implementation of 11i Oracle Project Management. Oracle Project Management provides project managers the visibility and control they need to deliver their projects successfully, improve profitability and operate more efficiently. Project managers can look to a single source of enterprise project information to manage the project through its lifecycle — from planning, through execution, to completion. Oracle Project Management is part of the Oracle Enterprise Project Management solution.

11i Financials Functional Foundation

In this course, you will learn the basics of the table functionality of the core Oracle Financials Applications, including Oracle General Ledger, Oracle Purchasing, Oracle Payables, Oracle Inventory, Oracle Receivables, Order Management and Oracle Assets. This course focuses on identifying the flow of application information through the major tables and describing the resultant major business functions associated with these applications.

11i Advanced Supply Chain Fundamentals

This class includes discussions of features, functions and benefits of Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning. You learn how to set up data and model the supply chain. In hands-on practices you will review data, review the supply chain model and create advanced supply chain plans. You analyze results of unconstrained, constrained and optimized versions of multiple organization plans. You also resolve exception messages and respond to recommendations.

11i Bills of Material and Engineering Fundamentals

In this course, you will learn how to use Oracle Bills of Material to define different types of bills of material to accommodate various business models and scenarios. You will also learn how to use Oracle Engineering to create and implement engineering change orders.

11i Field Service Fundamentals

In this course, you will learn implementation considerations for products that help to manage a field service organization, including Oracle Field Service, Oracle Advanced Scheduler and Oracle Spares Management. 11i Field Service Fundamentals is part of the Functional Implementer learning path and is designed to help you make strategic implementation decisions.

11i Financial Applications Overview

When you complete the 11i Financial Applications Overview course, you familiarize yourself with the applications and key business flows in Oracle E-Business Suite. You will learn about the Accounting to Financial Reporting business flow including Oracle General Ledger and reporting options. You will learn about the Procure to Pay business flow, including Oracle payables, Oracle Internet Expenses, Oracle Cash Management, Oracle Fixed Assets, Oracle Purchasing and Oracle iProcurement. You will learn about the Order to Cash business flow including Oracle Receivables, Collections, Trading Community Architecture, iReceivables and Order Management. You will also understand the key applications that are part of the Project to Profit business flow.

11i Inventory Management/Bill of Material and Engineering Accelerated

This class focuses on the features, functions and benefits of the Oracle Inventory application. You will learn how to set up items, how to use the various inventory controls available, how to do transactions, transfers, and inventory moves, inventory replenishment, cycle counting and physical inventory. You will also learn where Inventory fits in the overall enterprise structure.
