OAUG Forum Personal Agenda Builder — New This Year!
Go directly to your OAUG Forum Personal Agenda (login required)!
New for the COLLABORATE 07 — OAUG Forum, enhance your conference experience with the OAUG Forum Personal Agenda Builder. This new tool allows you to plan your conference experience by choosing the sessions you wish to attend, and then print out your own personal agenda for COLLABORATE 07.
Please note: The personal agenda is provided as a courtesy to OAUG contacts to help plan their conference attendance, and does not guarantee entry into the desired sessions. Seats are available on a first-come, first served-basis.
Please note: The IOUG, OAUG and Quest are each responsible for providing their own educational sessions. The OAUG Forum Personal Agenda Builder contains only information on sessions presented by the OAUG. The IOUG, OAUG and Quest will be releasing a combined agenda containing all sessions at the beginning of April to assist attendees in planning their conference experience.
Getting Started
To begin using the OAUG Forum Personal Agenda Builder, simply search for sessions you are interested in attending using the OAUG Forum session search form. Please note that you must be logged in to the OAUG Web site in order to save sessions on your personal agenda. If you have not yet logged in, please do so before beginning your search.
Login to the OAUG Web Site
Please note: If you have registered for COLLABORATE 07 through the OAUG, or if you have registered for an OAUG event in the past, you already have a username (your e-mail address) and password for the OAUG Web site. If you have forgotten your password, or want to check to see if your e-mail address is already in our system, you may do so using the OAUG login form. Simply enter your e-mail address and under “Do you have an OAUG password?” select “I think so, but I forgot it (enter your e-mail address above).” If the e-mail address you enter is already in our system, you will receive an e-mail at the address with your password. If the address you enter is not found in our system, you will be prompted to create a new profile.
Search for Sessions
Once you have logged in to the OAUG Web site, begin building your OAUG Forum Personal Agenda by searching the COLLABORATE 07 — OAUG Forum for sessions of interest to you. Please note: you will be able to search for sessions and view session details without logging in, but you will be prompted to login if you are not logged in and attempt to add a session to your personal agenda.
You may search for sessions based on any combination of a number of criteria, including track, presenter name and session date, among others. Once you have selected the criteria you desire, click the “Search” button at the bottom of the form to submit your search.
Add Sessions to Your Personal Agenda
Once you have submitted a search, you will see the search results page. In the left-most column (labeled “Add”) of each row, you will see a checkbox. Select the checkbox next to the session(s) you would like to add to your personal agenda. When you have selected the session(s) you desire, click the “Add Selection(s)” button at the top or bottom of the search results table.
Note that you may also click on a session title to read that session’s abstract, objectives and other details. Please note that at this time you can not add a session to your personal agenda from the session detail page. You must click the “Back” button at the bottom of the session detail to return to the search results page in order to add the session to your agenda.
Schedule Conflicts
You can not select two sessions in the same time block. If you select a session that is in the same time block as another session you have selected, you will be re-directed to the conflict resolution page. On the conflict resolution page, you will be prompted to select which of the conflicting sessions to keep and which to remove. After selecting which session you want to remove, click the “Resolve Conflicts” button. You will be directed back to the search results page with conflicting sessions unchecked. If there are any other sessions checked to add to your personal agenda, you must click the “Add Selection(s)” again to add those sessions to your personal agenda.
Please note: If you select a session to add that is already on your personal agenda and click the “Add Selection(s)” button, it will be treated as a time conflict and you will be re-directed to the conflict resolution page. Simply click the “Resolve Conflicts” button to de-select the session (it will remain on your personal agenda) and return to the search results page.
Your Personal Agenda
Your personal agenda is where all of the sessions you have selected are arranged in a schedule grid for quick and easy viewing. You may want to bookmark the link to the personal agenda page for quick access.
From the personal agenda page, you may click on the title of any session on your agenda to view that session’s detail page, which includes the session abstract, objectives and other information. From the session detail page, click the “Back” button to return to your personal agenda.
If you need to remove a session from your personal agenda, you may do so from the personal agenda page. Simply click the red circle-x icon (
) in that session’s time block. You will be prompted to confirm the deletion.
To view a version of your personal agenda suitable for printing, click the “Print View” link at the top-right or bottom-right of the personal agenda table. Once you have printed your agenda, click “Full View” to return to the regular view.
