President’s Corner

2008 OAUG President Jan Wagner

2008 OAUG President Jan Wagner

As I have been preparing my itinerary for COLLABORATE 08, it struck me how this annual conference is a showcase for the significant OAUG knowledgebase of information, expertise, resources and solutions that is available to OAUG members. Moreover, this knowledgebase is only possible through the strong participation of the OAUG member community. For example:

While the OAUG member community is engaged in countless activities throughout the year, the annual COLLABORATE conference serves as a venue for bringing our community together to enjoy and acknowledge all of the benefits that your OAUG membership offers. I’d like to thank all who contribute so actively make the OAUG such a vigorous organization.

I would also like to personally invite you to join me at the OAUG Annual Meeting of the Members, Wednesday, April 16, 1:00 p.m. - 2:30, during COLLABORATE 08 to celebrate some of the outstanding OAUG member achievements and contributions this past year. We will also be introducing a dynamic, new member benefit that will continue to help our member community stay in the know!

COLLABORATE 08: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community — the Oracle education event of the year — is almost here! I am very much looking forward to participating in this extraordinary learning and networking event with all of you in Denver.

 — Jan Wagner, OAUG President
