OAUG Member Ray Payne Named Oracle ACE

OAUG member Ray Payne, Senior Architect for Oracle technical infrastructure projects for The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel, Md., was recently named an Oracle ACE by Oracle.

Payne has more than 30 years of experience in the information technology field. His experience covers an extensive range of technical applications development and deployment. He has accumulated more than 20 years of knowledge with Oracle databases and more than 15 years of experience with Oracle Applications.

Payne currently serves on the OAUG Board of Directors as vice president, Global Outreach and Transitions. An active member of the OAUG since 1992, he has also contributed many presentations and technical papers for OAUG conferences, including recent presentations on Enterprise Management and Grid Computing architecture at Oracle OpenWorld and the AUSOUG National Conference series in Australia.
