What is the OAUG membership term?

OAUG membership is annual based on the date your membership application is processed and full dues payment is received.
How do I search the conference paper archives?

There are two ways to search OAUG's conference paper database, which is accessible to OAUG members only:

Once logged into the members only section of the OAUG web site,
click the "Search" button in the left hand navigation bar. You will
have the option to search against the entire OAUG web site, list
archives, and the OAUG conference paper database. Please check the
appropriate search criteria and perform your search.

After you log into the members only section of the OAUG web
site, you may click on the new "Member Services Navigation" header to
display members only content, and navigate to Conference
Resources:Papers & Presentations. Or, if you are already logged on,
you may click here.
Why can't I post a message to OAUG List Servers?

In order to be accepted by OAUG list servers, your email must be sent in
clear text format. This is to prevent the proliferation of harmful
attachments or malicious code from being posted to the list servers.
If you receive a posting or subscription failed message that mentions
"Multi-Part/MIME," then this indicates your email was not sent in clear
text.
Please try your message using clear text, or contact our listmaster for more assistance.
I can't search the list archives -- what's the password?

Please use "list" for the user name and "archives" for the password. This
security measure has been put in place to prevent spam bots from
harvesting all of the email addresses included in list server postings.
Is OAUG membership corporate or individual?

OAUG members can be either corporate or individual. OAUG Memberships are available to:
- User Members — corporations or organizations that are licensed users of Oracle Applications.
- Associate Members — organizations that provide products and services that complement and enhance Oracle Applications.
- Individual Associate Members— individuals who are independent consultants or students who are non-users of, but have a primary business interest in, Oracle Applications.
How many mailing contacts are included with my company's OAUG membership?

User and Associate memberships are allotted ten (10) mailing contacts.
Mailing contacts receive the printed publications produced by OAUG.
Please note that there is no limit to the number of contacts you may
have under your User or Associate Membership for access to the "Members
Only" section of the OAUG web site. In addition, any employee of your
User or Associate Member organization is automatically eligible to
receive conference registration discounts.
Why doesn't my search work?

Please review the following possible solutions:

We use port 8080 to conduct searches of the OAUG web site. While
this is an approved alternate port for HTML traffic (please visit the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority web site
for details), some firewalls have been configured to block this port,
thereby preventing a successful search. Please ask your network
administrator if this port has been blocked.

If your search results contain list server archive elements,
you must enter the login "list" and password "archives" to view these
search results. This safeguard has been implemented against the list
server archives to prevent spam bots from harvesting email addresses
from archived list server postings.

Can I purchase more mailing contacts for my company?

Additional mailing contacts can be purchased for each membership for $50 per
contact for User Members and $100 per contact for Associate Members.
There is no limit to the number of additional mailing contacts that can
be purchased.
How do I update my company membership information?

Logon to your membership
profile or contact OAUG via email or by telephone at +1 (404) 240-0897.
If you don't remember your OAUG password, you may request it via email.
How do I volunteer for committees?

OAUG is always in need of volunteer assistance. If you would like to volunteer for a particular committee,
please email volunteer@oaug.com.
If the key contact leaves the company, does the membership transfer with the key contact?

Membership is not transferable. Should a key contact leave the membership company,
a new key contact can be assigned. Please contact the OAUG Membership Department by email,
or via telephone at +1 (404) 240-0897.
Does OAUG membership automatically include membership into the local Geo or SIG?

No. While each Geo and SIG is affiliated with OAUG, each group maintains their own separate membership.
Can I earn CPE credits for attending OAUG conferences?

Yes, OAUG offers several educational sessions at the North America
conference that are eligible for one CPE credit for each 50 minute
presentation or training session.
